MPI # 19 Primer, Zinc Rich, Inorganic | NEXT→ |
An inorganic based, anti-corrosive primer for steel that is exposed to severe industrial or marine environments. Specified for use with topcoats such as MPI #77 Cold Curing Epoxy, #98 and #108 High Build Epoxy. For exterior exposures, an epoxy intermediate coat with an aliphatic polyurethane finish (MPI #72) maximizes service life. Recommended surface preparation is SSPC SP 10 Near White Blast for most applications and SSPC SP 5 White Metal Blast for aggressive industrial and marine locations. Application methods will primarily be airless and conventional spray equipment, but brushes or rollers may be used for small detail or touch-up work. | ||||
